I'm just gonna start with a little bit of documentation for my broken leg that happened on 11/13/13.
There was a combination of 6 factors that resulted in my first ever broken bone and I'm 56!
If any one of the factors was removed I doubt I my fibula would have broke.
The cool thing is I have learned so much about loving and having compassion in the last 12 days!
I have learned so much compassion from God. My times of intimacy and coming to tears at His Love and His goodness have increased during this time.
He spoke to me before this happened that I need to love myself more. Wow He is so good and so amazing that He wants us to love ourselves with the same kind of unconditional love that we are to display to our neighbor, and the world. Wow.
Sometimes loving ourselves may need to start with forgiving ourselves. Another "wow". That's all I can say is "wow, wow, wow."
Forgiveness is the ticket for total freedom in life. Forgiveness is... simply amazing. Forgiveness is "letting go", letting go of punishment for the offender. That also is a definition of 'Mercy'. Mercy is "pardoning someone who doesn't deserve it". Isn't that what forgiveness is? We hold on to unforgiveness because we believe, "whatever they have done, they don't deserve to be forgiven".
That's where mercy comes in. We are all offered and given mercy, grace and forgiveness through Jesus Christ if we choose to accept it. Its a beautiful free gift given to everyone everywhere who calls upon the Name of Jesus. Jesus died to take all of our sins upon Himself so as to set us free from the eternal consequence of them which is separation from God. We are eternal beings living temporarily here on earth. After this temporary life is over we live eternally in Heaven with God, OR in some other place absent from God's beauty and loving presence.
The bottom line is Love. Do you want Love or not? Our Creator dearly loves us, but its up to us, by faith to choose to accept His Love. God is Love, He just Is. So as we accept Him and His love as He is, we have an opportunity to enter into His presence here on earth!! It is so amazing. Jesus is God in the flesh, a representation of God the Father. All we have to do is place ourselves in His arms. Silence our busy lives and get still with Him. He is there just waiting for this opportunity with you. That is why He made you is for relationship... with Him.
